Our advice regarding Infosys contracts
The FSU was in the FWC again this week, this time with representatives…
Bendigo Bank has announced another wave of cuts related to its so-called 'strategic partnership' with Genpact. Up to 45 roles in Third Party Banking Fulfilment are expected to be offshored to Genpact.
If you are impacted by these changes, please register for our member meeting to understand your rights and how the FSU can support you through this difficult time.
Remember, you have rights as set out in our Enterprise Agreement, and management is required to consult with you on these changes.
If you need individual support or have a question before the session, please reach out by replying to this email.
As predicted, the bank is continuing its agenda of cutting more local jobs and replacing them with outsourced workers. This latest round brings the total number of job cuts since Bendigo Bank announced its 2030 strategy to 450.
Unfortunately, we know there are more disruptions to come. Workers can expect changes with blueprinting and process design in Consumer Lending Operations, Customer Remediation and Mortgage Help, Operational Excellence, Customer Specialised Services, and Deceased Estates, as well as in Financial Crime and Fraud Operations later this quarter.
Our union has written to Bendigo Bank calling on them to provide commitments to protect workers' job security.
If you haven't yet done so, please support our list of demands here.
If you are not yet a member of our union, join today to ensure you receive the support and protection you need.
