Union win – our new HESTA Enterprise Agreement

Congratulations to FSU members on our new HESTA Enterprise Agreement (EA), which received an overwhelming 88% YES vote by staff.

Here’s what we’ve won:

  • Pay increases of 5%, 4% and 3.5% paid in October for each year of the Agreement.
  • Industry-leading reproductive health care leave including menopause and menstruation leave, which we fought hard for and won.
  • Fair hours of work and overtime.
  • Genuine flexibility.
  • Fleet vehicles and allowances that we can rely on.
  • The ability to take disputes to the Fair Work Commission when we need to.
  • Accident make-up pay increased from zero to six months to support injured workers.

The proposed agreement will now be lodged with the Fair Work Commission for certification.

When we work together, we win together

Members were consistent and held strong throughout this campaign about what mattered most to us, which was how we won this great result. It shows what can be achieved when we work together.

A special thanks to our HESTA FSU Reps Sarah Hill, Jo Fenton, Tom Moloney and David Morton for representing us all so well at the bargaining table and making sure our voices were heard.
