VOTE NO today to RBA’s copy and paste offer!

Voting for the RBA’s proposed Enterprise Agreement is now open. The RBA has refused to listen to workers after we rejected their last offer back in June. Therefore, FSU members are recommending that all RBA employees vote NO to the RBA’s copy and paste offer.

Voting is completely anonymous. The ballot will close at 5pm on Monday 19 October.

How does RBA's copy and paste proposal fail workers?

  • No change to management’s previous below-inflation pay rise offer – it’s still 9.5% over three years.
  • RBA is refusing to provide any backpay, setting a dangerous precedent for future Agreement negotiations.
  • Management is still refusing to protect our work from home rights in the Agreement, meaning they can force us back to the office at any time.

How do I vote?

By now, you should have received an email from Vero Voting with your voting instructions, including a link to vote securely online. If not, please call Vero Voting on 1300 702 898, or contact the FSU for further assistance.

What happens if we vote no?

Voting no does not necessarily guarantee a particular outcome, but it does force RBA management to continue negotiating, and gives employees the opportunity to secure a better offer.

Importantly, a stronger no vote than the one in June would show that the current proposal has not won staff support and gives bargaining representatives a clearer mandate to continue pressing the RBA for improvements.

Voting yes closes that opportunity and locks in the current unsatisfactory offer.

If you have any questions about the offer or ballot, contact us on [email protected] or call 1300 366 378.

Remember, if RBA management want to pose the same question, then we’ll respond with the same answer: VOTE NO today!
