WBC Lenders hit by harsh bonus reduction – Urgent FSU meeting

Westpac Group Lenders are reporting a massive 6% reduction in bonuses. Having made an invaluable contribution to the Bank over the last 12 months, this is devasting news for all of us impacted.

Our Union is holding an urgent online meeting next Tuesday 5 December at 7pm (AEDT) to hear the latest on this decision and determine our next steps.

The meeting is now passed

Westpac Lenders need more certainty when it comes to how our work is recognised. It is not fair that we achieve real outcomes for the bank to then find out that the goal posts have been changed on us – with real financial consequences!

The impact of this reduction cannot be underestimated. At the same time the Bank has announced huge profits, this reduction in well-earned bonuses will leave many of us in further distress.

FSU members are seeking improvements to Lenders’ remuneration that will provide certainty. Make sure to attend the meeting and invite your colleagues to attend with you. If you’re not already an FSU member, join here.
