The results are in, and a majority of us voted NO to MyState’s dud offer for a new Enterprise Agreement!
Congratulations – this is the first important step to securing the agreement we all deserve.
As we’ve said since MyState first presented their offer then tried to force it through a ballot, this was a terrible agreement that failed to include a competitive pay rise, and which contained nothing about flexibility, additional leave, or workload issues.
We have now written to MyState urgently calling on them to recommence negotiations and provide an opportunity for them to demonstrate that they have listened to us by improving their offer.
Showing MyState that their original offer was a dud by voting NO is a big win, but we’ve still got a ways to go – and we can only shift management’s position if we all work together.
