A combined Bankwest/CBA Agreement – do you support our agenda?
Negotiations for our new wages and working conditions at Bankwest and CBA have…
Despite hundreds of Bankwest employees opposing the plan to merge our next Enterprise Agreement with CBA’s, management is continuing to press ahead with their plans, which puts many of our working conditions at risk.
That’s why our union last week lodged a dispute in the Fair Work Commission regarding the amalgamation of these two Agreements.
Despite all the challenges we’ve faced since CBA’s acquisition, we’ve still maintained what makes Bankwest great – our unique culture and identity. And we want to keep it that way.
The fact is, we are proud to work for Bankwest. We value our unique identity and want to protect the Bankwest brand in Western Australia.
From Tuesday 2 June to Friday 5 June, all Bankwest employees are encouraged to come to work wearing our iconic Bankwest orange – whether it’s a t-shirt, lanyard, socks, or anything else!
Our Fair Work dispute will continue, but as a workforce we need to demonstrate our pride for what makes Bankwest the bank that it is.
So share this with your colleagues and encourage them to go all out in orange for Wear it Orange Week!
Be sure to take some selfies with your colleagues and send them to [email protected] so we can share them on our socials!
