Home lenders at Westpac came together last week to discuss Westpac’s deeply flawed decision to increase its sales targets – and what we intend to do about it.
Specifically, FSU members expressed concerns about Westpac’s lack of consultation, professionalism and respect for the hard work of home lenders, the inconsistent way in which targets are being adjusted, and how Westpac has failed to consider the impact of the recent federal budget when it comes to home lending.
As a group, we agreed to call for the following changes:
