Westpac’s ruthless job cuts just keep coming.

The FSU has recently been made aware of another 50 roles to be cut across the following areas:

• Operations and Effectiveness Team (Consumer and Business Customer Engagement)
• Business Services Operations Team (Mortgage Operations Origination)
• Remediation Team (Customer Solutions).
   

That’s 650 jobs cut in just six weeks, and there are more we haven’t been told about.

We know members are feeling shocked and devastated amid these rolling job cuts. Please join us at our upcoming member meetings as we discuss next steps and what we can do to get a better outcome.

The hasty and messy way Westpac has gone about these job cuts has made a bad situation even worse. Sign our petition demanding Westpac show some common decency and engage in genuine and thorough consultation with us about these cuts.
