Westpac: Dear Mr King and Westpac Board…

Thousands of our colleagues have already signed our open letter to Westpac CEO Peter King and the Westpac Board calling on them to step up on pay.

Management’s initial pay proposal falls significantly short of what’s needed to meet inflation, which again rose last week. Interest rates may be on hold, but for how long?

We’ll be meeting with Westpac again in the coming weeks, so now is our best opportunity to show Westpac we won’t settle for anything less than what we deserve.

If you haven’t already, please sign our open letter now.
