What do you think about MUFG’s next EA offer?

In April this year, we rejected MUFG Market Services’ substandard Enterprise Agreement (EA) offer.

Voting ‘no’ should have sent a clear message to MUFG that the proposal they put forward wasn’t good enough. Since then, however, there has been limited engagement from management, with little progress on our key outstanding issues.

MUFG’s latest offer shows minimal improvement

  • Pay – MUFG’s new offer for the pool increase is only 0.2% more than their last, and just 0.7% more for the minimum pay increase.
  • Redundancy – offer is unchanged and capped at 28 weeks for 10+ years of service, which is well below industry standard.
  • Flexibility – still no clause to protect hybrid working arrangements.

What happens now?

MUFG is claiming this is their ‘final’ offer, but that’s not how this works. Our FSU bargaining team will be guided by you and your colleagues on next steps.
