WIN: In-principle agreement for your new CBA Enterprise Agreement

We have great news!

After months of negotiations, your Bargaining Representatives have reached in-principle agreement with CBA for an improved Enterprise Agreement (EA).

This result is only possible because you and your colleagues sent CBA a strong message that they needed to do better!

Your FSU Representatives have now endorsed the Bargaining Team’s position which means the new in-principle agreement will be put to a vote of all workers.

We believe this offer represents the best outcome that can be achieved through negotiations with CBA.

What has been achieved?

This improved EA would provide:

  • Pay increases for the majority of staff over the next 3 years.
  • A guaranteed wage increase for packaged staff in the first year and guaranteed component in the remaining years.
  • An improved workload and staffing clause.
  • An improved remote working clause.
  • A mechanism to provide payment for missed tea breaks.
  • Enhanced leave entitlements, including parental leave.
  • Improved redeployment, consultation and union rights.

Next steps

We expect that an all-staff ballot will be held in September – where you and your colleagues will vote to accept or reject this offer.

We’ll provide further details and a full copy of the proposed EA when this is confirmed. The FSU will also be holding information sessions to answer any outstanding questions about the new EA and the ballot process, so keep an eye out for further details.

What can you do?

Winning an improved EA is just the start – much more can be achieved at CBA with strong, active union members. So today is the best time to join if you’re not already a member, or ask a colleague to join!
