We rejected RBA’s substandard offer AGAIN! Will they listen now?

A majority of RBA workers have rejected management's substandard Enterprise Agreement proposal, with 54% of voters saying 'no'.

Is it any wonder? The offer that management put to a vote was almost identical to the one we rejected in June.

They asked the same question. We gave the same answer.

Congratulations to all RBA workers for standing your ground. This result gives your FSU bargaining representatives a clear mandate to keep pressing the RBA for a fair pay rise and stronger work from home protections.

We expect negotiations to resume shortly – and we expect management to take on board what workers have now told them loud and clear twice.

FSU members should keep an eye on their emails for important information on next steps.

Meanwhile, RBA executives are getting bumper salaries...

Did you see this ABC news article? According to the RBA's 2026 annual report, senior executives are among the highest paid people in Australia.

The RBA's four assistant governors received total remuneration between $743,000 and $868,000 each, and its chief operating officer received total remuneration of $905,543.

Management have put forward the same below-inflation pay rise offer twice. We've rejected it twice.

It's time RBA management listened to workers' concerns and put forward an offer that is fair and adequately rewards the contribution we make to the RBA.

Share the above post on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn so everyone understands why it's time for a fair offer from the RBA!
