Aware Super negotiations resuming. Are your colleagues with you?

In December, Aware Super employees stood together and overcame the first hurdle to securing the kind of wages and conditions we want and deserve: we rejected management’s initial (and offensive) offer.

Our successful ‘no’ vote sent a unified and powerful message that cannot be ignored… and management are now on the back foot.

We’re returning to negotiations shortly – it’s an opportunity for management to show they’ve listened to us and are prepared to do better.

The question is: will management remain arrogant? Unfortunately, an improved offer is not guaranteed.

What management offers next depends on how much influence we all have. And the fact is, the more employees who are part of our union, the more influential we are.

If you know a colleague who isn’t part of our union, ask them to join today to ensure they get the support and protection they need during this crucial stage of negotiations.

Remember, not only does our next Agreement lock in our pay rises and working conditions for the next few years, it also shapes our workplace culture at Aware Super. This is about respect and dignity and how we wish to be treated at work.

Thanks for playing your part as a member of our FSU team. Keep an eye out for important updates once negotiations resume soon.
