Our rights during consultation
We understand this is an incredibly stressful time for employees who are affected both directly and indirectly by these cuts.
This latest announcement is part of a continuing cycle of disruption and uncertainty for ANZ workers. Since Nuno Matos took over as CEO, it has been nothing but chaos and mismanagement, with too many employees left feeling unsure about our future and unable to plan with confidence.
Our ANZ Enterprise Agreement gives us rights during periods of significant change. Management is required to:
- consult with you about the introduction of these proposed changes.
- speak with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you.
- consider your feedback and any proposed alterations you have.
- implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes.
If you have any questions or feedback ahead of the above sessions, please send them through by replying to this email.
And if you’re not yet a member of our union, now is the time to join to ensure you have the support you need during this difficult time.
