Queensland Labour Day 2023 – Celebrate workers and support a Voice to Parliament this Labour Day

This year’s Labour Day is an important one – we’ll not only be celebrating the achievements of Unions and workers, we’ll also be showing our support for the Yes campaign to enshrine an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament in the Constitution

This is our opportunity to come together and say a strong “yes” to unifying change.

WHEN: Monday 1 May, 9.30am (The event will conclude around 3pm but you may leave at your convenience)

WHERE: Gather at the corner of Turbot and Wharf Streets, Spring Hill

FSU Members at the event will receive a FREE T-shirt that represents our support for a Voice to Parliament. We’ve also got goodie bags for the kids!

RSVP FOR LABOUR DAY 2023

RSVP’s are essential so we can ensure we have the right sized T-shirts for everyone.

The march will kick off at 10am and will be followed by a Family Fun Day at the Brisbane Showgrounds, with free rides, food, music and fun activities for all ages.

Please remember to bring comfortable shoes, a sun hat or umbrella, and a stroller for young children if needed. We will provide you with a free FSU T-shirt, sunscreen, water, food, and beverages at the event.

Regional Labour Day events are also taking place across the state. You can find an event closest to you here.

We hope to see you there, proudly wearing your FSU T-shirt! Please spread the word and encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to join us for a day of unity and camaraderie.
