ANZ Technology restructure – Know your rights

ANZ has announced a series of significant restructures across the Technology Division, including within the Institutional, Group Services and Cloud, Data and Infrastructure Services (CDIS) departments.

These proposed changes will result in hundreds of roles being made redundant and colleagues will need to participate in a preference and selection process.

The FSU is holding urgent consultation meetings for anyone impacted by these changes. If you know a colleague who may be impacted, please forward this email to them and ask them to register.

If you are unable to attend one of the meetings, you can still have your voice heard by completing our feedback form. You can also reply to this email, and your FSU Organiser will be in touch.

Our rights during consultation

The ANZ Enterprise Agreement gives us rights during periods of significant change, and ANZ is required to:

Consult with you about the introduction of these proposed changes.

Speak with you about the effects the changes are likely to have on you.

Consider your feedback and any proposed alterations you have.

Implement measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of the changes.

Consultation closes on Thursday 21 August, so we need to act quickly to ensure our questions and concerns are heard.

If you’re not yet an FSU member, now is the time to join. Or if you’re already a member, ask a colleague to join with you!
