Aaaaah no thanks, Allianz!

Allianz has moved on their measly 1% pay offer… by a measly 1%.

They are now offering a 2% guaranteed pay increase each year in our new Enterprise Agreement (EA), which still puts us at the absolute bottom rung of the ladder in the insurance sector. Not only that, this increase also excludes anyone earning over $100K.

Do you think this is good enough?

Don’t forget, members at Zurich insurance rejected a pay offer of 3.2% – and we’re a long way off from that.

We also won’t accept the additional discretionary pool that forms the bulk of management’s pay proposal. This gives management complete discretion on whether we receive any increase above the minimum amount.

2%? To that we say, “aaaaaahhhhhh no thanks, Allianz”!

We’ll be meeting with Allianz management again next week, so let’s get as many colleagues as possible telling Allianz this isn’t good enough.
