At this week’s negotiations, Allianz presented an initial proposal on our pay and conditions for our 2024 Allianz Enterprise Agreement (BPA). It’s now time for us to meet and consider this initial proposal so we can provide our feedback to management at our next scheduled meeting.
What has Allianz proposed?
- Pay increases that continue to rely on a discretionary pool for employees below $180K salary. Beneath this pool, Allianz propose a minimum annual fixed pay increase of just 1%. This is lower than the fixed pay increases that FSU members have recently won at IAG and Zurich.
- Allowances will increase by 3.75% in 2024.
- Ability for part-time workers to accept additional hours at ordinary time to receive increases to superannuation and accrue leave.
- Domestic and family violence (DFV) leave increased to 4 weeks. 10 days leave for staff supporting others experiencing DFV.
- 3 days paid Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ceremonial and/or sorry business leave.
- 4 weeks paid leave and 52 weeks unpaid leave for gender affirmation leave.
- Arrangements for ex-Westpac Group employees who transitioned to Allianz during the life of the current BPA.
