ANZ: 3.8 billion reasons to support our claim for better wages

You may have seen ANZ recently announced massive half-year profits of $3.8 billion – a whopping 23% increase on profits from this time last year.

We all know that these profits are a testament to the hard work and dedication of ANZ colleagues who have continued to support our customers and communities through challenging times.

But while ANZ’s profits soar to billion-dollar heights, we continue to struggle. Many ANZ colleagues are finding it harder to make ends meet.

A recent FSU survey showed 81% of ANZ colleagues find their current remuneration is failing to keep up with the rising cost of living. We need to take action now to secure improved pay and conditions that are fair and keep pace with increasing expenses.

Take a stand for better wages

Our current negotiations for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA) are the perfect opportunity for us to change things around. This is the most effective way for us to achieve better pay and conditions for all ANZ colleagues, but your support is crucial in demonstrating that these issues matter to all of us.

Spread the word

The more ANZ colleagues who show support, the stronger we will be when negotiating for our pay and conditions.
