ANZ’s proposed Suncorp Bank Enterprise Agreement has been voted up by a majority of employees.
We know this isn’t the result many of us hoped for. This outcome was by no means a strong endorsement of ANZ’s proposal and in many ways reflects a broader cultural issue across the bank where we aren’t valued and our feedback is dismissed.
If ANZ wants to continue to retain high-quality talent, the bank needs to start listening to us and show us that our time, skills, knowledge and experience are valued. This is something we’ve said from the beginning.
We are proud of the hard work and commitment from FSU Workplace Representatives, union members, and everyone who took action. Without all your efforts, we would not have secured improvements to ANZ’s initial position, ensuring our redundancy rights are protected.
What happens now?
