Cbus – Do you support the new Cbus Enterprise Agreement?

Thank you to those who provided feedback on Cbus’ proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA).

What’s new in the proposal? 

After further negotiation, Cbus management has agreed to revise their proposal to include:

  • A three-year rather than a four-year EA
  • The ability for us to choose which days we attend the office. 

Cbus management was not willing to shift on their pay proposal beyond reducing the term of the EA to three years. 

On flexibility, Cbus management again rejected our proposal for no in-office mandate.  They reiterated that all office attendance would be determined through consultation with us, and some time spent in the office remains a high priority for them.

What happens next? 

It is essential that you have your say on this proposal, and here’s how: 

  • You will receive a text message from the FSU in the next 48 hours asking whether you support Cbus management’s proposal.  Simply reply yes/no or respond with any questions you have about the proposal. 
  • On Tuesday 4 June at 12pm (AEST), come along to an FSU member only info session where you can have your questions answered about Cbus’ proposal.

We will close our FSU vote on this proposal on Wednesday 5 June, so please make sure you respond to the text message when you receive it. Your voice matters and will determine the FSU position on this proposal.
