CBUS workplace changes – your feedback and FSU meeting
CBUS has announced significant workplace changes that will likely impact more than 50…
Late last week, Cbus provided a response to our members’ remaining questions regarding its restructure, which primarily impacts brand and marketing. Following this response, we have now resolved our consultation dispute with the Fair Work Commission.
Members raised a range of questions and concerns regarding the impact of the proposed changes. Work intensification, task allocation and accountability remain a real concern in the new structure.
However, we have now agreed on a regular accountability measure at JCG meetings, whereby we can put any issues regarding workload intensification to management for a response. This means issues around workloads will be monitored and front of mind for management, and we will have an ongoing platform to hold management to account.
FSU members have been incredibly resilient throughout this difficult process, and we look forward to working closely with you whether you remain at Cbus or find employment elsewhere in the sector.
If you are not yet a member of the FSU, join today to ensure you receive the support you need.
As part of our 2024 Enterprise Agreement negotiated by the FSU, Cbus is now rolling out its new job grading system, where all roles will be given a role-based grade.
This new grading system should be visible from 1 July in HR Self Service. Grade descriptors and minimum remuneration levels will also be available to employees on Cbus Connect from this date.
To find this information, go to Team hubs – People and Culture – Remuneration.
There shouldn’t be any change to your normal working day – who you report to, your role responsibilities, and your pay will remain the same.
However, we know you have questions and feedback about this change.
If you do, please contact your Workplace Representatives – Caroline Troup, Mark Dean, Cherie Smith, Tom Bukolt, Jenny Farrar and Cameron Fry – or your FSU Organiser Laf Zuccarello at [email protected].
