Don’t be fooled – RBA’s offer remains unchanged

Today’s communication from RBA management about revisions to the APS pay offer is aimed at pulling the wool over our eyes.

RBA management are trying to make it appear as though the APS offer matches ours, and this isn’t the case.

  • APS staff will receive their salary increase when it is normally due, but we won’t.
  • In addition, APS staff will have their payment brought forward to 21 December 2023 instead of their scheduled increase on 14 March 2024, giving them an additional 12 weeks of increased pay – a 0.92% increase to their pay offer.
  • The APS proposal provides for several progressive entitlements that RBA have refused to include. See a full list of the new APS common conditions here.
  • Don’t forget, RBA’s offer still provides no backpay to the normal pay period of September 2023. They can do it, they just don’t want to. This is in stark contrast to the large increase RBA Executives already gave themselves in September.

Don’t be fooled – RBA’s substandard offer remains unchanged.

PLEDGE TO VOTE NO

Pledge to vote NO when the ballot opens on Tuesday 28 November, and let’s force RBA back to the bargaining table for a fairer Agreement.
