Now Suncorp says they are finally ready to negotiate a new deal. While we don’t yet know what management thinks a fair deal looks like, we do know what we deserve.

Will Suncorp step up with a fair offer?

We deserve a guaranteed pay rise for each year of this agreement that keeps up with the rising cost of living.

That’s what other insurance companies have given their employees recently:

It’s not a big ask, especially considering Suncorp CEO Steve Johnston pocketed more than $4 million in 2024.

So how do we win?

We’ve got a golden opportunity to finally shape the future of our pay and working conditions at Suncorp.

After questioning Suncorp about pay at their AGM and in negotiations, they’ve committed to making a wage offer in three weeks.

But management isn’t going to hand us anything on a plate – we will only be successful if all Suncorp Insurance workers stand together and show management we’re serious about getting a fair deal.

We all need to play our part to achieve the agreement we want. Here are some simple things we can do right now:

1. Join the FSU – If you’re not already a member, be part of the team that’s fighting for a fair deal at Suncorp. The more employees who join the FSU, the stronger our voice will be. 
2. Talk to a colleague – Use this flyer to chat with your co-workers about our push for better wages and conditions and why they should join our union. 
3. Support our agenda – If you agree with what we’re seeking from Suncorp, show your support here.
