FSU event: In conversation on the Human Rights Act
What would a Human Rights Act actually change?
The FSU has advocated strongly against violence towards women and we’ve campaigned hard to secure industry-leading domestic and family violence leave.
It’s important that we continue to stand up and speak out against violence towards women.
Not-for-profit organisations The National Rally Collective and What Were You Wearing Australia are fed up with gendered violence and calling for change in the form of much-needed government funding for frontline services.
They’ll be hosting rallies across Australia from Friday 26 July to Sunday 28 July to take a stand against family, domestic and sexual violence.
We invite you to look for a rally in your local area and join an event to show your support.
Together we can make sure women’s voices are heard and not silenced.
