Our settlement offer to Aware Super

Negotiations for our new wages and conditions are back on! We’ve told Aware Super that their first offer wasn’t good enough. Now it’s time to show them what IS good enough.

When we meet with management this Friday, we will put forward a settlement position built directly from what you told us matters to you – wages and conditions that match other super funds, not fall behind them.

This is the settlement position we’re taking to management:

Superannuation – 15%.

Redundancy – three weeks for each year of service, capped at 60 weeks.

Pay –

  • FY 2026 – 6%
  • FY 2027 – 5%
  • FY 2028 – 4%
  • FY 2029 – 3.5%

Note: We are not seeking a cost-of-living allowance in addition to wages – the cost-of-living allowance is included in these pay increases.

Level 5 pay – guaranteed pay increases aligned with Levels 1-4 + variable increase based on performance.

Christmas shut down – three gifted days between Christmas and New year, three public holidays paid, and three annual leave days to cover shut down.

Overtime – no stated hours for reasonable overtime for level 4 and 5 employees.

Wellbeing days – remove one day notice for either side of public holiday

Aware Super can no longer say they are UNAware of what you need. Now management must prove they’ve actually listened.

We win when we stick together.
