People First Bank: What are our priorities for our new agreement?

We have now begun negotiations with People First Bank for a new Enterprise Agreement, which will set out our wages (including pay rises) and working conditions for the next few years.

Over the past couple of months, you’ve told us what’s most important to you at People First Bank. This will form our list of priorities (agenda) for these negotiations, which we’ll be sharing with management at our next meeting. We’ll be working to win a deal that is fair and reflects the valuable work we do.

We invite you to come along to our online meeting next week where we will go through our agenda for negotiations, the changes management have indicated they want to implement, and our plan to win.

Monday 14 October, 6.30pm (SA time) 6pm (QLD time)

Our collective strength determines our bargaining power

Remember, this is the first agreement for the newly amalgamated People First Bank, so it’s vital we stand together to ensure we get the best possible outcome.

That means keeping up to date with the latest information and encouraging our colleagues to join the FSU. Management is far more likely to listen to our concerns if they know we are all engaged with the process.

Please forward this email to your colleagues and ask them to join the meeting on Monday.
