We wanted to provide this quick update on a couple of things happening at the RBA…
RDO review
FSU members provided valuable feedback on whether RDOs should stay at the RBA. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey.
The FSU has now written to the RBA with your collective feedback and will be discussing the issue further at the next Joint Consultative Committee, which is coming up soon.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on how these discussions progress.
Thanks, Jason, for fighting for RBA employees!
We would like to acknowledge our FSU member Jason Jux who, after dedicating his career to the RBA, has decided to retire. Importantly, Jason has been part of our FSU family since 1998 and an FSU Representative since 2007.
Our union is only as strong as our members, and Jason has been involved in multiple enterprise agreement negotiations, playing a pivotal role in positively shaping and protecting our working conditions at the RBA for decades.
So much of what we can achieve as a union is thanks to our hard-working Reps – whether it’s attending meetings with management, updating colleagues on issues, or ensuring we’re receiving our correct entitlements.
Wins like this can’t happen without union members who are prepared to step up and lead. If you want to make a difference at the RBA by becoming a Workplace Rep like Jason, reach out to your FSU Organiser or give us a call on 1300 366 378.
Thanks again, Jason, and congratulations on your retirement!
