So many reasons to reject Beyond Bank’s offer. Get ready to vote NO

Our chance to reject Beyond Bank’s substandard offer for our new Enterprise Agreement is nearly here.

Voting will open on Thursday 21 August – stay tuned for details on how to vote.

Before you vote, it’s vital you and your colleagues understand exactly what’s in the offer and the risks posed to our working conditions. Please register for our online information session:

Tuesday 19 August, 6pm SA time (6.30pm AEST)

There are so many reasons to vote NO to Beyond Bank’s proposal. Here are a few:

  • Pay offer of 9.5% over three years is one of the lowest offers from any bank in recent years.
  • A change to ordinary hours means you could be rostered on a Sunday as part of a normal roster.
  • Parental leave is well below the industry standard of 14 weeks – and Beyond Bank’s refusal to pay superannuation on this leave contributes to your gender retirement gap.
  • No menopause and menstrual leave or cultural significance leave.
  • The FSU would be unable to engage with you about any workplace changes unless you tell the bank we are your representative.

Voting NO will send a strong message and force management back to the table with an improved offer.

See you online next week!
