Because Beyond Bank employees stood together and voted ‘no’ to management’s previous offer for our new Enterprise Agreement, we won significant improvements.
Now, the time has finally come to vote ‘yes’ to management’s improved offer.
If a majority of employees vote ‘yes’, we will lock in the improved pay and working conditions we’ve negotiated over the past few months, including an 11% pay rise over three years.
Scroll down to see a list of what’s in the offer.
How do I vote?
Voting opens tomorrow (Thursday 6 November), and you will have until Wednesday 12 November to cast your vote.
Tomorrow morning, you will receive an email from CorpVote with details about how to vote. If you don’t, contact your manager immediately. If you cannot resolve the issue, contact the FSU on 1300 366 378.
What’s in the offer?
- Pay rise: 11% over three years – 4% in first year, 3.5% in second year, and 3.5% in third year. The previous offer was 9.5% over three years.
- Sunday overtime: Removing reference to Sunday ordinary hours – this means Sunday will not be part of a normal roster cycle, so if you work on Sundays then overtime will apply.
- Superannuation to be paid on first 12 months of parental leave (both paid and unpaid).
- Removal of Christmas shut down period.
- Part time additional hours and overtime: All references to additional hours and overtime will be contained in the overtime clause. Improved wording to be reviewed.
Remember, we need a majority of Beyond Bank employees voting ‘yes’ if we want to lock in this offer – so please forward this email to your colleagues to ensure they know what’s going on.
If you’re not already a member of our union, join the team that’s winning better pay and conditions for Beyond Bank employees.
