The access period for the proposed Suncorp Enterprise Agreement (EA) starts today (Friday 1 August). This is your chance to carefully review the proposed document and understand exactly how it will affect you.
Join an FSU Q&A session
To help you make an informed decision before you cast your vote, the FSU is holding a series of online and in-person drop-in Q&A sessions. This is your opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns, and get clarity on the proposed changes.
In-person sessions at 80 Ann Street, Brisbane. Level 21.
- Tuesday 5 August, 10am – 3pm (AEST)
- Wednesday 6 August, 10am – 3pm (AEST)
- Thursday 7 August, 10am – 3pm (AEST)
Online sessions:

Wednesday 6 August, 6pm (AEST)
Time to vote No
After thoroughly reviewing the proposed EA, the FSU has serious concerns about its impact on your rights, job security, and working conditions. You can read a full summary of our key concerns here. Or find further information on our EA campaign page here.
A question we commonly get asked is, “if we vote No, do we have to wait until October 2026 for a new EA?”
No – that’s not correct.
There is no legal or industrial barrier preventing a new EA from being negotiated and voted on sooner. If employees reject this proposal:
- ANZ/Suncorp must continue bargaining in good faith
- A revised EA can be voted on and approved this year
- If ANZ delays negotiations, the FSU can escalate the matter to the Fair Work Commission.
See our full response and other FAQs here.
What can I do?
- Talk to your colleagues about the ballot and the importance of voting No.
- Attend an FSU Q&A session to get the facts.
- Be ready to vote from Monday 11 August – every vote counts!
Let’s send a strong message: Suncorp Bank employees deserve a better deal.
If you have any questions ahead of the sessions, please email [email protected] and a member of the team will get back to you.
