Suncorp improves offer – FSU info session

Thanks to significant pressure from FSU members, management at Suncorp Insurance has shifted their position further regarding our new Enterprise Agreement (EA) and presented an improved (and final) offer.

On top of Suncorp’s previous package, management is now offering:

  • a guaranteed 4% pay increase in the first year for bands 1-4 and FS 1-4. This would mean a 10.25% guaranteed increase over the three-year EA.
  • an increase to 3% in the third year to the merit pool for FS 5 and 6. This would mean a 9.25% increase over the three-year EA.
  • an increase to personal leave from the current 10 days to 12 days after two years of service.

As was previously the case, the offer contains no loss to any existing entitlements. You can findall the details of the offer here.

Having listened to the overall feedback from members through our FSU poll and to secure improvements won in this final package, our FSU Representative Committee will recommend the above improvements to members at next week’s meetings.

To hear about the offer in detail and discuss next steps, please register for one of the below report-back meetings:

Monday 25 November, 6pm (QLD time)

Tuesday 26 November, 12pm (QLD time)

These sessions are open to all Suncorp staff, so please invite your colleagues by forwarding them this email. If you can’t attend any of the sessions, contact the FSU and we will try to set up an alternate time.
