These FSU members won a 5% pay rise. Now ANZ is considering ours…

A guaranteed 5% pay rise, protecting redundancy payments, and putting work from home rights in the Enterprise Agreement (EA).

These are some of the things employees at People First Bank have just won in their new EA – and they did it by committing to vote ‘no’ if management didn’t improve their original offer.

There’s nothing to say Suncorp Bank employees can’t achieve a similar result for our own EA if we’re prepared to vote ‘no’ too!

I commit to vote ‘no’ to ANZ’s sub-par offer

As it stands, ANZ’s offer includes insecure or no fixed pay increases, longer working days, and less of us covered by the EA.You can read more about it on our website here.

If ANZ succeeds, these unacceptable conditions will be locked in for the foreseeable future.

ANZ is considering our claims right now

Following a short delay in negotiations so ANZ could consider our outstanding key issues, we’re meeting with ANZ this week to find out where they’ve landed.

If you haven’t already, please register for one of our report-back meetings. These sessions are open to all Suncorp Bank employees, so be sure to forward this email to your colleagues and invite them along.

Just like People First Bank employees, we have the ability to shift ANZ’s position if we all work together. So if you’re not already a member of our union, join today.

Together, let’s achieve the pay and working conditions we all deserve!
