Vote for your FSU HSR candidates at CBUS

CBUS workers will soon vote in Health and Safety Representative (HSR) elections.

Voting will open on Wednesday 10 June and close on Wednesday 17 June.

Soon you will receive an email from CorpVote containing your voting link and individual access code.

HSRs are important because they provide workers with a direct, elected voice on health and safety matters in the workplace.

This includes physical safety risks, as well as psychosocial risks like excessive workloads, emotionally demanding work, understaffing and workplace stress.

The FSU is proud to support a strong group of member candidates who are committed to improving health, safety and wellbeing at CBUS.

Meet your FSU-HSR candidates

Caroline Troup

Caroline Troup (Member Performance)

“I am committed to ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. I am confident I can make a positive impact and help protect the wellbeing of staff. My previous experience assisting FSU members with their safety rights has given me valuable insight into the importance of advocacy and collaboration in promoting a safe environment.”

Caili Christian

Caili Christian (Insurance/Complaints)

“I’m keen to contribute to the Health and Safety Committee as a HSR, with a strong focus on psychosocial safety alongside general health and safety. In my training role supporting Complaints, I work closely with teams undertaking high-risk, emotionally demanding work, which has given me a strong understanding of psychosocial hazards and the value of prevention, early intervention and supportive controls that help people feel safe and supported.”

Dianne Abbley

Dianne Abbley (Advice)

“I would like to be a HSR because I care about my colleagues and want to actively contribute to a safe working environment for all.”

We encourage members to support these candidates in the upcoming election and help build a stronger voice for workplace health and safety at CBUS. Please share this update with your colleagues.
