Voting for Aware Super’s proposed Enterprise Agreement is now open. This is our critical opportunity to vote NO and tell Aware Super that we deserve better.
Voting closes on Friday 5 December – but don’t wait, vote NO today to make sure your voice is heard.
What’s in the proposed Agreement?
While we’ve managed to negotiate some improvements, management’s offer still contains some shocking elements that we simply cannot accept. Here’s what’s in the offer…
The good:
- Reproductive health care leave.
- Access to parental leave.
- Overtime for Contact Centre employees.
The bad:
- Paid parental leave won’t increase for the next four years, remaining at 20 weeks.
- Four-year Agreement (most agreements are three years).
The ugly:
Aware Super is actively shutting down conversations in team chats that discuss or link to FSU information and our ‘vote no’ campaign. If management thought their deal was solid, why stop staff from comparing notes? What is Aware Super trying to hide?
How do I vote?
By now, you should have received an email from CultureAmp with your voting instructions. If not, speak with your manager immediately, or contact the FSU for further assistance.
All votes submitted through CultureAmp’s confidential ballot process are guaranteed to be anonymous. No one — including your employer or the union — can see how you voted.
Let’s stand together, demand respect, and vote NO to Aware Super’s proposed agreement!
