The results are in, and a majority of us voted NO to Beyond Bank’s substandard offer for a new Enterprise Agreement!
Congratulations – this is the first important step to securing the agreement we all deserve.
This was a terrible agreement that failed to include a competitive pay rise and contained few improvements to our working conditions.
We now call on Beyond Bank to urgently recommence negotiations and fulfil their legal obligation to bargain in good faith. They must demonstrate that they have listened to us by improving their offer. If Beyond Bank does not prioritise further negotiations, our union will escalate the matter to the Fair Work Commission if necessary.
Voting ‘no’ is a big win, but we’ve still got a ways to go – and we can only shift management’s position if we all work together.
