Ahead of the launch of our Breaking taboos campaign tomorrow on Finance Industry Equal Pay Day, we’re excited to share our menopause and menstrual leave framework with you. You can access a copy here.
Your responses and powerful stories about the challenges of balancing the symptoms of menopause and menstruation with work helped form the basis of this important framework.
We encourage you to take a look through it and join us tomorrow as we unpack the framework in more detail.
If you haven’t yet registered for our event, there’s still time to do so below.
Our FSU Delegates Caroline Troup, Sacha Hammersley and Rina Abbott-Jard joined FSU National President Wendy Streets in Canberra last week for the official launch of unions’ reproductive health care leave campaign at Parliament House.
It was another opportunity for us to shine a light on the importance of paid leave to provide equal opportunities for all workers.
FSU National President Wendy Streets, FSU Delegates Caroline Troup, Sacha Hammersley and Rina Abbott-Jard, and FSU National Policy Officer Angela Budai.
We’re also excited to be joined by Angela Cracknell, Head of People Advisory and Enablement at Aware Super, who will discuss Aware’s menopause and menstrual leave policy and the positive benefits it’s brought to their workplace.
When you join the FSU, you get access to expert workplace support whenever you need it. From pay and conditions to restructures and workplace disputes, we help you understand your rights. You'll receive representation where it’s needed and access to exclusive member benefits that add value beyond the workplace. If something isn’t right, or you simply want clarity about your options, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
