It’s your FSU Representatives at Bupa here. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves – we’re Chrissy, Sara, Nige and Harlee, and we’re here to provide support or advice, or connect you with our union.
We’re now well into 2026 so here’s a bit about what’s been happening…
Last year, our union:
secured a commitment from Bupa to not link office attendance with performance reviews for employees in the customer voice channel teams (who have been bought back to the office two days a week).
assisted members with flexible work arrangement applications.
provided industrial advice and support to members across Bupa.
And looking ahead to 2026…
We’ll be focusing on a range of issues, including:
ensuring Bupa upholds its commitment to not link office attendance with reviews. This focus will apply to the customer voice channel teams, as well as any other areas of Bupa where staff may be brought back into the office more this year.
supporting members on their flexible work arrangements, including any six-month reviews.
preparing for our upcoming Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations. Our Bupa EA expires in April 2027, so towards the end of this year is a good opportunity for us to consider what improvements to our pay and working conditions we’d like to secure in our next one.
Our new Teams channel supports all Bupa employees
It’s really important that all Bupa employees understand our rights and stay in the loop with what’s going on. That’s why we’ve set up a new Teams channel. The channel has been approved by management and all Bupa employees are strongly encouraged to join.
We’ll use this channel to have important conversations about all things happening at Bupa for employees, including workplace issues, advice and friendly support.
Note: to access the Teams channel via the above link, you must be logged into your work Teams account.
As always, if you need support from any of us, or you’d simply like to hear more about the benefits of being an FSU member, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
When you join the FSU, you get access to expert workplace support whenever you need it. From pay and conditions to restructures and workplace disputes, we help you understand your rights. You'll receive representation where it’s needed and access to exclusive member benefits that add value beyond the workplace. If something isn’t right, or you simply want clarity about your options, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
