Your thoughts on NAB’s Business Bank Associate Model

In October, NAB began a limited pilot of the Associate Model to test combining the Customer Lending Solutions Associate (CLS) and Relationship Associate (RA) roles.

The pilot, which is due to conclude at the end of March, involved 56 colleagues, including Leads, Senior Associates and CLS/RA Associates across NSW and Victoria.

NAB is then expected to decide whether to roll out the model more broadly across Australia.

Now is your chance to speak up

Your FSU Workplace Representatives have been meeting with management throughout the pilot to raise members’ feedback, concerns and experiences.

We are meeting with management again in late March, and it is crucial that we present a strong, united message from you and your colleagues.

If NAB is going to make decisions about the future of the Associates role, they need to hear directly from workers.

Your voice matters — but our collective voice has more influence.

The more members who speak up, the stronger our ability to push back on any problems, raise concerns, and demand changes where they are needed.

Whether you have participated in the pilot, worked alongside it, or have concerns about what this model could mean for you and your team, we want to hear from you.

Next steps

After our meeting with management, we will hold report-back sessions to update members, discuss the feedback raised, and talk through next steps.

Please keep an eye out for further details on dates and times.
