Today is the last day to vote NO to Zurich’s Enterprise Agreement (EA) proposal. Voting closes at 4pm this afternoon (Wednesday 13 December 2023).
- We’re voting NO to discretionary pay only for a majority of staff.
- We’re voting NO to the minority of staff receiving guaranteed pay increases that fall far below the cost of living.
- We’re voting NO to a proposed Z leave entitlement that is not what it seems.

What happens if there is a NO vote?
If there is a NO vote, good faith bargaining obligations continue to apply to the FSU and Zurich. That means we will meet with Zurich as soon as possible to try to resolve the remaining issues.
If this does not lead to a quick resolution, we will seek the assistance of the Fair Work Commission.
What happens if there is a YES vote?
The Enterprise Agreement will be submitted to the Fair Work Commission. If they approve it, it will come into effect shortly after.
This is your last chance to have your say on Zurich’s proposed Enterprise Agreement.
Stand with us to vote NO and tell them that we deserve better.
