Vote now in the Aware Super Enterprise Agreement ballot

Voting for our proposed Aware Super Enterprise Agreement is now open. All Aware Super employees have until tomorrow (Friday 29 May, 6pm AEST) to cast their vote.

The ballot comes after more than 12 months of negotiations with management. Our union has fought alongside a dedicated group of FSU members to secure the best possible wages and working conditions for the next few years.

The FSU has consulted widely with members to determine our position regarding the proposed Agreement. While a majority of members support the offer, we acknowledge that some members feel Aware Super could have improved various aspects of the Agreement.

The proposed Agreement includes:

  • an improved pay offer with some CPI safeguards, including a $1250 base salary increase if CPI is greater than 5.5% in FY 2027 and greater than 4.5% in FY 2028.
  • 2.5% pay increase for levels 1 – 5, following a majority yes vote.
  • superannuation increased to 13% from FY 2028.
  • overtime pay for everyone earning under $160,000 a year.
  • AI protections, including consultation safeguards not seen in other agreements in our sector.
  • 12 days paid reproductive health care leave.

However, some members have expressed that the pay offer does not go far enough, that superannuation should be higher, and parental leave falls behind other funds.

We therefore encourage all Aware Super employees to make an informed decision before casting their vote, and to vote according to what is right for you.
