Hearing set for deregistration of the FSU Qld branch

I previously informed you that I sent an application to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC) to deregister the Finance Sector Union of Australia, Queensland Branch, Industrial Union of Employees (FSUQIUE). You can find out more about why we did this here.

A hearing at the QIRC for this matter will take place on Thursday 18 June at 10am. I'd like to reassure members that should the deregistration proceed, your membership, representation or services with the FSU will not be affected.

I will keep members informed about the outcome of the hearing, so please keep an eye out for further updates from me.

FSUQIUE Secretary
National President, Finance Sector Union of Australia
