AustralianSuper pay offer + your priorities for rest of negotiations
AustralianSuper has now presented its pay offer as part of our ongoing negotiations…
During recent negotiations for our new Enterprise Agreement, AustralianSuper said they would not commit to backpay at this stage.
We are not going to accept this. When negotiations extend beyond the previous Agreement's nominal expiry date, offering employees backpay is usually standard practice – and we expect no less.
Meanwhile, FSU members have told us what issues matter most to you for the remainder of negotiations. A majority of respondents told us you want:
Management has previously stated they want AustralianSuper to be the "best place to work in finance". Unfortunately, the reality – and their refusal to improve their position – suggest otherwise...

Incredibly, when it comes to the superannuation gap and us falling further behind other super funds, AustralianSuper has stated that they are "not bothered by the erosion".
The fund says they’re not convinced that reproductive health care leave is necessary.
The fund also says they're not prepared to promise not to sack employees before Christmas.
CEO Paul Schroder must take more of an interest in the working conditions of his employees, and show us he's serious about making AustralianSuper the number one fund.
Our next meeting with management is next week, and we'll be making it clear that AustralianSuper employees expect genuine, good-faith negotiations that are not simply one-way demands or rejections from management.
We'll keep you posted after our next meeting. In the meantime, if you're not yet a member of our union, join today for the support and protection you need.
