We voted YES to our new AustralianSuper pay and conditions!

We did it! 1,653 AustralianSuper employees have voted up our new Enterprise Agreement (EA), with an overwhelming 93.95% voting ‘yes’.

Congratulations to every FSU member for achieving this result. As you know, it hasn’t come from nowhere. Workers don’t achieve improvements to our pay and conditions because of the good-natured generosity of employers – we fight for these improvements, and we do it together.

Here's what we've won together in our new EA:

  • 12% pay increase over the life of the Agreement, with back pay to 1 July 2026.
  • One-off payment for A1 - A6 colleagues - either a $1000 employer superannuation contribution, or an $885 gross lump sum payment plus $115 super contribution.
  • Introduction of five days of reproductive health care leave.
  • Superannuation on all paid overtime.
  • Improved 'blended work' clause to ensure employees' needs are genuinely considered.
  • Commitments around AI and data security.
  • Access to long service leave at half pay.
  • Commitment to undertake a review of classifications and pay structures via the Joint Consultative Group during the life of the Agreement.

What happens now?

Once our EA gets the final tick of approval from the Fair Work Commission, our new wages and conditions will apply.

Our work doesn’t end here, though. To continue securing positive outcomes in the future – and to ensure our new EA is correctly implemented – we must keep our union strong across AustralianSuper.
