We improved Beyond Bank’s pay offer. What do you think?

We’ve received Beyond Bank’s next offer for our new Enterprise Agreement – and thanks to employees previously voting ‘no’ to the first offer, management have made some significant improvements, particularly around our key issues.

What’s in the new offer?

  • Pay rise: 11% over three years – 4% in first year, 3.5% in second year, and 3.5% in third year. The previous offer was 9.5% over three years.

  • Sunday overtime: Removing reference to Sunday ordinary hours – this means Sunday will not be part of a normal roster cycle, so if you work on Sundays then overtime will apply.

  • Superannuation to be paid on first 12 months of parental leave (both paid and unpaid).

  • Removal of Christmas shut down period.

  • Part time additional hours and overtime: All references to additional hours and overtime will be contained in the overtime clause. Improved wording to be reviewed.

Remember, Beyond Bank only improved its position on pay and conditions because union members stood together and demanded it.
