AustralianSuper has proposed a significant change impacting approximately 900 roles across the current Fund Services Domain.
Under management’s proposal, the Fund Services Domain will no longer exist. Instead, two new domains – Finance, and Technology, Digital and Data – will be created. It is proposed that operations functionality, project delivery, first line risk functions and vendor management will report into the domains they serve.
Of the 900 roles impacted, management says 87 roles will be removed, while 54 new roles will be created. This means over 1000 hours of work a week would be lost at AustralianSuper.
AustralianSuper has initiated a consultation period with affected employees and our union is now seeking feedback from members.
If you are impacted by these proposed changes, we understand this is difficult news to hear. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns so that we can put them to AustralianSuper management. This is your opportunity to have your say, and to ask any questions or provide feedback on these proposals.
