Hostplus negotiations kick off – do you support a 16% pay rise?

We have now commenced negotiations for our new Hostplus Enterprise Agreement.

The FSU presented our agenda for improved pay and conditions to management, which included:

  • a 16% pay increase over three years.
  • transparent, fair pay and overtime arrangements for all, including paid overtime and guaranteed TOIL.
  • modern leave entitlements, including 12 days of reproductive health care leave and 26 weeks of paid parental leave.

Hostplus management also made proposals for our new Agreement, including:

  • pay increases of 13% over four years and a $1000 cost of living payment.
  • three days of reproductive leave and 20 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • three days of Sad News and Sorry Business leave.
  • increased family and domestic violence leave to 25 days.
  • increases to some allowance payment amounts.
  • Our negotiations will continue on 21 November 2025.

In the meantime, this is your opportunity to join our FSU community in endorsing our negotiations agenda.

It’s important that Hostplus employees present a united front so management listen to our asks and know that we are speaking for a majority of employees.
