No back pay – Aware Super’s response to our settlement offer

Aware Super has finally responded to our settlement offer, which we presented to management back in February.

You can view Aware Super’s full response to our offer here.

Management has improved their position on some items – including pay, superannuation, wellbeing days, end-of-year shutdown and redundancy caps.

But is it enough, or will Aware Super’s improvements be overshadowed by their failure to commit to backpay on the 2026 increase?

You tell us.

Before we return to negotiations with Aware Super, we need to understand what you think about this latest offer.

So that we can accurately represent your views – and potentially push management to improve their offer – tell us what you think by taking our quick survey.

It’s vital you provide your feedback as soon as possible, as it will be crucial to us ensuring management understands what you think and whether employees are likely to accept it or not.
