Proposed merger between Beyond Bank and P&N Bank – what you need to know

Beyond Bank and P&N Bank are planning to merge however this needs to be voted on and accepted by bank members before the merger can proceed.

In the meantime, we understand that change can be unsettling and the FSU is here to support you through this transition.

What you need to know

Currently, there are two separate Enterprise Agreements (EA) for Beyond Bank and P&N Bank employees.

For our Beyond Bank colleagues, you’re working under an expired EA, which will continue to cover you until a new EA is voted on and approved. Recently, an administrative pay increase was applied by the bank. However, we need to evaluate if this increase was able to meet your needs.

For our P&N colleagues, your current EA is set to expire in November this year. Like Beyond Bank, you will continue to be covered by the existing EA until a new one is approved by vote.

If the merger proceeds, the plan will be to bring all employees together under a new EA, and we need to start planning for this now.

We want to hear from you

It is essential we hear from members from both banks to ensure we address everyone’s concerns and keep you informed. Please take two minutes to complete our short survey.
