It takes a community to rebuild. As FSU members, we are committed to do everything we can, including working constructively with management, to get our workplace culture back to where we know it can and should be.

Thankfully, 2026 presents the perfect opportunity to do just that. Our Enterprise Agreement expires in June, so we’re gearing up to negotiate a new one. It’s our opportunity to secure the pay rises, as well as the protections and improvements, we all deserve.

To that end, our union will be delivering education workshops next year, focusing on issues that you want to know more about. If there are any specific topics you’d like covered, reply to this email.

Having a union that is easily accessible when you need it is our first priority. This year you may have seen more FSU organisers around the workplace – we had over 100 conversations during the workplace change period.

Now, some of our colleagues are stepping up for the first time as Workplace Representatives (see full list of our reps below), so you can always reach out to us if you need support and assistance at work. Our FSU Organisers will also make regular site visits to all state offices, so please reach out when you see them – or you can always contact our union by email or phone.

Remember, securing an Agreement we can all be proud of will take a team effort. When we stand united, we are a force to be reckoned with – one that demands to be heard and respected.
